The problem

Site engineers recorded labour and materials on paper, sent photographs of the sheets to head office, and someone typed them into a workbook two to three weeks later. Cost overruns surfaced at project close, not during the project. Subcontractor claims were argued from photographs.

What we built

A custom project-costing system with a field application that works offline and syncs when the site gets a signal. Materials, labour hours, and equipment are booked against a work breakdown structure at the point they're consumed. Subcontractor claims are raised against the same records. Integrated with their existing accounting package rather than replacing it.
